Tour de France 2011 | Stage 18
Andy Schleck wasn’t gasping for air, he was merely shocked that someone had gone so epic nineties and dressed up as The Mask.
Kat, this is for you.
Possibly the best image I’ve seen from this tour.
Coolest Category 4 mountain pass ever?
(1.1km with an average gradient of 4.9%)
This year, as last year and every year since its inception, Le Tour will be a cinematic study of the very essence of sport, viewed through the close up zoom lens of modern television coverage and the wide-angle span of history.
What do women want, after all?
Casual FYI to a pretty girl whom I may be dating… July is meant to be spent in front of a tv/computer watching men climb the Alps and summit the Pyrenees on two wheels.
Shit’s going down.
Someone cheated.
Someone got caught.
I just got an email from Nike’s Chalkbot - my message of hope and inspiration got posted this year… just east of Geneve, France.
I’m pretty excited that it actually made it this year.. I tried last, but my message didn’t make it through the thousands that must get submitted.
For those that don’t know what the chalkbot is, check out this video!
Aka pretty damn awesome.
Livestrong, folks!
New Lance Armstrong Nike spot.. while it may not replace my absolute favorite video, I do fancy it. It drives home the point - you hear the voices of supporters, of those who have taken up the fight themselves, of those who lead others, and you see the reason why one guy (simplified) started it all.
It’s about more than just plunking his ass down on a seat and being the strongest and best cyclist that has ever rode - it’s a mission to eradicate the most deadly disease on the planet.
HA!
Now that is humor!
Tough stage today with the cobbles taking their toll, but my boy know show to battle.
